Folsom Anglican
A MISSION OF THE DIOCESE OF SAN JOAQUIN
Looking for a Parish ?
Gathering.
The Second Phase of any church plant is Gathering. The Gathering Phase requires a physical location for meeting and consists of regular opportunities to worship utilizing the Book of Common Prayer. This is also a time to invite our inquiring neighbors into our worshipping life. These gatherings provide us with a community to serve and fellowship with as we discern what the Lord has planned for historic Anglicanism in Folsom.
Inquiring.
Folsom Anglican is in the midst of our Inquiry Phase. This is a season of determining the interest and need for a traditional Anglican Parish in Folsom, California. Faithful Anglicans in Folsom already commute to St. Mark’s in Loomis or All Saints in Placerville for Sunday worship. This means that there is already a community needing a parish in their home town. Would you consider partnering with your neighbors to make historic Anglican Worship a permanent feature of Folsom? Let us know of your interest by joining our mailing list.
Planting.
After prolonged and consistent gatherings of committed worshippers comes Planting. This stage of church life indicates that the community that we have been serving and growing is capable of becoming self-sustaining. At this point the community will function less like a satellite campus or daughter church, and will begin to take on its own culture, ethos, and mission. The eventual formation of a new and sustainable Anglican Parish that preaches the Gospel to its wider community is ultimately our end goal.
